23. For etiquette purposes, NO trashing of the course. Garbage/recycling needs to be placed in the appropriate receptacles, etc.
24. There is no uninating or deficating on the personal property of the other players (i.e. clubs, balls, shoes, etc.). As a matter of fact, we'd appreciate it if you would shake a foliage as you pissed and proclaimed, "Shakin' the bush, Boss!", so we know where you are. Speaking of which, urination should take place outside, but if you have to crap, go inside (and don't forget to flush!).
25. Much like any other sport, there may be male and female leagues, however, the leagues shall not mix as there are "distractors" that the opposite sex may have that will give them an unfair advantage or disadvantage.
26. BARLEY BOWL BALL ADVANTAGE - A player who has their own Barely Bowl Ball may move that ball one foot closer to the hole after they have hit it. A player may use their Barley Bowl Ball as long as it is in thier possession (once it's lost, it's lost). Other player may not dessicrate a Barley Bowl Ball (i.e. pee on it), or cause a player to intentionally lose their ball.
*Duel -A full beer shall be placed in each players hand with that hand kept at waist level. Each player must be back-to-back, walk 5 pace simultaneously with the other hand on their head, turn and face each other, then grab with the hand that was on there head and chug the beer. The player doing so the fastest shall win the duel. A forfeited duel shall result in a one point subtraction from that players score as well as the holes point getting rewarded to the other player.
SEASONAL POINT SYSTEM
1. All players who play in a tournament shall receive 1 point. In the event of inclement weather during play, a majority of players present may elect to cancel the play with no penalty. (those players still receive attendance points.)
2. Winner after 18 holes shall receive an additional point.
3. During a full moon tournament, all seasonal points will be doubled (a full moon tournament is defined as the 2 games that are colsest to a full moon on the calendar). In addition, the 2nd place player for the night shall earn an additonal point. For those who suck at math, this is how it works on a "Full Moon Tournament" - 1st gets 4 points, 2nd gets 3 points, all other players who attend get 2 points. ALSO, (this in not complicated), ALL FULL MOON TOURNAMENTS are designated as CHARITY TOURNAMENTS. Each player MUST pay a minimum of $10.00 to play and ALL procedes will go to the St. Jude Foundation, because, dammit, we can help these kids and it's not that much cash. (receipts of donation will be posted in our bars).
4. Any player who physically destroys property, doesn't pay either greens fees or full moon charity fees, intentionally loses another players Barley Bowl Ball, or masturbates on the course shall lose their seasonal points for that night.
5. Winner at the end of the season shall receive "The Trophy" until the end of the following season, in which "The Trophy" is then passed on to the winner of that season. There shall also be trophies for 2nd and 3rd place winners that will be passed on from season to season.
6. In the event of a tie for seasonal points for 1st, there shall be a "Tri-beer-nal", in which the tied players will have a 3 beer chug off. This event will take place at the Barley Bowl 30 minutes before tee time. Each player will have 3 - 12 ounce beers placed in front of them. The person who finishes all three first shall be the winner for that place. Absolutely no physical contact may take place by ANY member during this time (this is mano a mano, brothers)! If there is a tie for second, then 2 beers must be chugged. And for 3rd, then it's a one beer chug off. Any player who fails to show on time or declines the challenge shall be called a "pussy" from henceforth.
7. A season must consist of 11 games (cancellation due to inclement weather shall count as a game played)
8. The Nocturnal Barley Golf season for the Loxahatchee chapter shall be from Oct. 1st through April 1st.
**OFFICIAL PROCESS FOR RULES CREATION AND AMMENDMENT
1. Any member may propose a rule, however, the rule must be approved by a majority of the "executive committee".
2. The "executive committee" shall consist of the "Founding Fathers" (i.e. Andrew~Aldo~retta and Greg~Lou~manis).
3. Any approved rule changes will be reflected in the printing of the rules for the next game.
